goalgirls has evolved and transformed so many times since it was founded in 2017. the constant has been the purpose of two sisters to set out and build a company that fights the framework the patriarchy has created. and to bring in the female perspective. into the creative industries as much as our idea of 'business' in general.
goalgirls could be described as a 'multi-category purpose company at the intersection of products, communication and social impact' - or as a collective of women, doing whatever they want in 2021. the female-only team is renowned for their rebellious creative agency, strategy agency and their co-rebelles community of over 100 female creatives.
since 2020 goalgirls have branched out into several social impact initiatives and start ups.
goalgirls was founded in 2017
'goalgirls' was founded in 2017 as a rebellious creative agency by the two sister helena and kaddie rothe. their vision was to build a female-only team to counter the male-dominated industry. they wrote a pledge to always make noise on behalf of women, defeat sexist marketing and the pale-male-stale hierarchies in the industry. as a creative team they specialised in social media and experiential marketing, digital campaigns, brand building and activism for a conscious generation.
'we are an agency built with the sassy spirit of a 90s girlband. we're brand ambassadors, inventors, creators, producers, writers, activists and most importantly: the female creative force.'
their project portfolio includes progressive brands such as armedangels, bumble, casper, netflix and mymuesli. by tapping into today’s social currents, they create campaigns like movements for a woke generation.

and creative directresses to speedy growth of the creative agency into the co-creagency.
co-rebelles was founded in 2019
the co-rebelles is what they call their creative community. an elevator pitch for it has less to do with a fancy start up idea than with a pledge for a system change.
co-rebelles are smart creatives who are driven by passion and a pledge to co-create the future and do good. besides their work in advertising and marketing the co-rebelles create a space to innovate and play.
they currently count more than 150 active members in their creative community. 'we are one and a whole. we strive for personal progress, are one big future force gang. we take ownership of the projects we run and passions we have', says Kaddie Rothe, 'we have invented new ways of working in an agile structure similar to the system of 'holacracy'.
